How the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integration works
Step 1: Sign in and pick a company
You sign in to Business Central from the Zynk connection screen and approve access. Zynk then lists your environments and companies, so the correct sandbox or production company is selected.
Step 2: Map to Business Central records
Customers, items, vendors, payment terms, tax groups and shipment methods are matched between Business Central and each connected system, so documents land with the codes your finance team set up.
Step 3: Test in a sandbox environment
Workflows run first against a Business Central sandbox, where sales orders, invoices and journals can be checked line by line before anything touches production.
Step 4: Switch on and monitor
Live workflows then run on a schedule or close to real time, with alerts for any record Business Central rejects, such as an item number it does not recognise.
