Amazon S3 Integration
Zynk's Amazon S3 integration lets your workflows use S3 buckets as a shared file store. Exports, reports and data extracts from Sage 200, SQL Server and other systems upload to S3 automatically, and files waiting in a bucket can be downloaded and handed to Salesforce, Shopify or an SFTP partner. It suits teams who want integration files kept centrally rather than on one server.

Workflows can upload database extracts, archived integration data and exported files to a bucket on a schedule. Copies sit in S3 as well as on the machine that produced them, which matters if that server ever fails.

How it works
How the Amazon S3 integration works
Step 1: Set up access in AWS
Create or choose the buckets Zynk will use and give it credentials that can list, read and write objects. AWS recommends a dedicated IAM user for this rather than your root account credentials.
Step 2: Decide what moves
Agree which files go into S3 and which come out, the folder structure and file names, and whether files are archived, moved or deleted locally once they have been processed.
Step 3: Build the workflow
Upload, download, list and create-bucket steps are combined with Zynk's file, CSV, SQL and SFTP tasks, so a file can be produced, converted, stored and delivered in a single run.
Step 4: Run and monitor
Workflows run on the schedule you choose, and alerts flag a failed upload or a missing file, so gaps in your archive or reports are noticed the same day.
