Enterprise data integration has a higher bar to clear. At scale, it is not enough for data to move between systems. It has to move predictably, be accounted for afterwards, and adapt when a system changes. Get that wrong and the cost shows up as manual reconciliation, failed audits, and projects held up by the integration layer.
Zynk is a code-free integration platform that lets you integrate your systems in days, not months. Here is how that works for large businesses, and what changes once integration stops being something your teams manage by hand.
Smaller businesses usually need to connect two or three systems. Large ones run dozens: ERP, finance, CRM, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, warehouse and third-party logistics systems, plus internal databases and file feeds that were never designed to speak to each other.
That changes the requirements rather than just the scale of them. Transaction volumes are higher, so scheduling and error handling matter more than convenience. The data is subject to audit, so a reliable record of what moved and when becomes as important as the movement itself. And with more systems in play, something is always changing, so the integration layer has to absorb that change without a rebuild every time.
Zynk Workflow provides over 70 pre-built connectors spanning accounting, CRM, e-commerce, databases, files, warehouse management, third-party logistics, and web services. Rather than commissioning a bespoke build for every pairing of systems, you connect them through a single integration layer.
Work is organised into workflows: a sequence of tasks that runs together to complete a business process. A typical workflow might export orders from an e-commerce platform, transform the data into the required format, import it into an accounting system, and then email the customer their invoice. Workflows can run on demand, from the command line, or on a schedule, so high-volume processes run quietly in the background without anyone having to start them.
Controls are built in for the realities of running at that pace. A workflow can be configured to prevent more than one copy of itself from running at the same time, which matters when runs are frequent, and an overlap would otherwise duplicate data.
Zynk follows defined rules, not probability. Mappings between systems are explicit, so nothing is guessed or inferred and the same input produces the same result on every run. For finance and operations teams, that is the difference between an integration they can sign off on and one they have to spot-check.
When a run does meet a problem, an outage at the other end or a malformed file, the platform is built to recover rather than start again. Workflows can resume from the task that failed instead of repeating everything before it. Reports can be emailed automatically on failure, or only when a specific error condition has been flagged, so the right people hear about the issues that actually need them.
Every run is recorded in workflow history alongside its logs, its result, and when it ran. Retention is yours to set: keep a fixed number of runs, keep runs for a set number of days, or keep everything indefinitely where a longer record is required. The default is 90 days.
The practical effect is that an audit becomes a lookup rather than an investigation. When a figure is questioned, you can point to the run that produced it.
Permissions in Zynk are set area by area for each user. Access to connections, workflows, workflow history, global variables, settings, encrypted data, and user management itself can each be set to none, view only, or full management. Connection credentials can be encrypted, with visibility limited to the users who genuinely need it.
Zynk is ISO 27001 certified and compliant with UK and EU GDPR. Certifications, policies, and live platform status are published openly at trust.zynk.com and status.zynk.com, so procurement and IT teams can review them without waiting on a sales conversation.
Because workflows are configured rather than coded, changes ship in days rather than months. Processes you use often can be saved as templates and reused. An entire workflow, along with its connections, mappings, and variables, can be exported as a single package and imported elsewhere, which is how an integration moves from a test environment into a live one without being rebuilt.
Integration stops being the bottleneck on your projects. When a new system joins the estate, connecting it is a configuration task rather than a development programme.
Every inquiry reaches Zynk's UK team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The people who build integrations are the people who support them.
That support is built into the product as well as the phone line. A specific workflow run can be submitted to the team directly from its history, so support receives the exact data and logs for that run rather than a description of the symptoms. Full documentation for every connector and task is published at docs.zynk.com, and developer resources and sample workflows are available on GitHub.
The point of all of the above is time. Data moves between systems automatically, so finance and operations teams spend their hours on analysis, planning, and genuine exceptions rather than manual entry and reconciliation. Enterprise integration is not really about connecting systems. It is about connecting them in a way that holds up under volume, audit, and change. That is what Zynk is built for.
