Frequently asked questions

How are Shopify orders posted into Sage 50?
Customers, products and sales orders are exported from Shopify and imported into Sage 50 automatically. Orders can post to currency-specific web sales accounts, or all through a single account when WebSalesAccountOnly is enabled.
Does it handle multiple currencies?
Yes. The template routes GBP, EUR and USD orders to their own bank and web sales accounts (WEBGBP, WEBEUR, WEBUSD by default), so multi-currency sales reconcile cleanly.
Does stock stay in sync between Sage 50 and Shopify?
Yes. Inventory levels are exported from Sage 50 and imported back into Shopify, against your designated Shopify location, so your storefront reflects what you can actually sell.
What do I need to connect Sage 50?
A Sage 50 company data path along with a username and password. Our team handles the connection and configuration as part of the template setup.
