Intuit Enterprise Suite Integration

Zynk's Intuit Enterprise Suite integration is for growing US businesses that run several entities on Intuit's ERP and still sell or operate through other systems. It connects IES to ecommerce stores, marketplaces, CRMs and service platforms, so transactions from those systems reach the right entity without rekeying. Every project is scoped with you first, because no two entity structures are alike.

Benefits

Why businesses connect Intuit Enterprise Suite

Built around your entity structure

Intuit Enterprise Suite runs a parent company and its subsidiaries from one login. Zynk designs each integration around that structure, so data from a store, CRM or service platform is posted to the entity that owns it rather than to a catch-all company.

Cleaner inputs for consolidation

IES produces consolidated reports and automates intercompany eliminations itself. What it relies on is complete, correctly coded source data in each entity. Taking manual imports out of the process gives the month-end close a better starting point.

Uses Intuit's published APIs

Intuit states that the QuickBooks Online APIs work for Intuit Enterprise Suite customers. Zynk connects through those published APIs, not through spreadsheets or file drops, and keeps the connection maintained as Intuit's platform develops.

A route up from QuickBooks

Because IES shares the QuickBooks Online API, Zynk applies the same integration approach it uses for QuickBooks Online, then reworks routing and mappings for each entity. Businesses outgrowing a single QuickBooks company do not have to start their integrations from nothing.

Controls finance can sign off

Integrations are scoped, mapped and tested with your finance team before go-live, with alerts when something needs attention. Zynk is ISO 27001 certified and works to UK and EU GDPR, which matters when customer data crosses systems.

The problem

Why integrate Intuit Enterprise Suite?

Intuit Enterprise Suite consolidates entities well, but only from the data each entity holds. When sales arrive from online stores, marketplaces and a CRM, someone usually exports them, splits them by entity and imports them into the right company. That step is slow, easy to get wrong and hard to audit as the group grows.

Without integration

  • Channel sales exported to spreadsheets and split by entity by hand
  • Month-end close waiting on the last batch of manual imports
  • The same details keyed into the CRM, the store and each IES company
  • QuickBooks-era integrations that assume a single company

With Zynk

  • Each channel's transactions are routed to the entity that owns them
  • Source data arrives through the period, not in a rush at the end
  • Details are entered once and passed on by the integration
  • Routing and mappings designed per entity from the start

How it works

How the Intuit Enterprise Suite integration works

  1. Step 1: Scope the entities

We start by laying your IES entity structure alongside the systems that feed it: which store, marketplace or business unit belongs to which company, and what each one needs to send.

  2. Step 2: Connect each entity

Zynk connects to Intuit Enterprise Suite through Intuit's APIs and to your other platforms. Intuit's API currently works one entity per request, so the workflow is built to post to each entity in turn.

  3. Step 3: Map and test

Accounts, tax handling and reporting dimensions are mapped entity by entity, then tested against sample transactions until the figures in IES match the source systems.

  4. Step 4: Run and monitor

Workflows run on a schedule you set, with alerts when a record needs attention, so finance handles the exceptions instead of rechecking every import.

Intuit Enterprise Suite integration FAQs

What is Intuit Enterprise Suite?
Intuit Enterprise Suite, often shortened to IES, is Intuit's ERP for growing businesses with several entities, projects or product lines. Intuit describes it as separate from QuickBooks Online and Desktop, with consolidated reporting, automated intercompany eliminations and permissions set by entity and role.
Can Intuit Enterprise Suite connect to Shopify and other stores?
Zynk connects Intuit Enterprise Suite with ecommerce platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay and Wix. Each project is scoped with you first, covering which store feeds which entity and how its sales should be recorded, before any build starts.
Is there an Intuit Enterprise Suite API that Zynk can use?
Yes. Intuit says the QuickBooks Online APIs work for Intuit Enterprise Suite customers, with new APIs planned for IES-only features. The current APIs do not post across several entities in one request or create intercompany transactions, so Zynk works with each entity in turn.
How is this different from Zynk's QuickBooks integration?
The underlying API is shared, but the design is not. A QuickBooks Online integration usually feeds one company. An Intuit Enterprise Suite project starts from your entity structure, so routing, mappings and testing are planned for every entity that receives data.
Does Zynk support multi-entity businesses on IES?
Yes, that is what the connector is designed for. Transactions from each sales channel or system are routed to the entity that owns them, and Intuit Enterprise Suite then handles consolidation and eliminations. Intercompany entries stay in IES, because Intuit's API does not create them.
Is Intuit Enterprise Suite available in the UK?
Not at present. Intuit states that entities outside the US are not currently supported in Intuit Enterprise Suite. UK businesses using QuickBooks Online can connect it to their other systems through Zynk's QuickBooks connector instead.
Is an Intuit Enterprise Suite integration secure?
Zynk is ISO 27001 certified and works to UK and EU GDPR. The connection to Intuit Enterprise Suite is authorised through Intuit's own sign-in, and our team reviews access and data handling with your finance and IT leads during scoping.
How do I get started with Intuit Enterprise Suite?
Send us your entity list and the systems you want to connect. We'll talk through how each one should map into Intuit Enterprise Suite, flag anything the current APIs cannot do, and set out the scope and next steps.
