How it works
How the Sage Intacct integration works
Step 1: Connect Intacct and source systems
Zynk connects to your Sage Intacct company through the Intacct API, using a web services user set up for the integration, and to your CRM, store or order platform.
Step 2: Map entities and dimensions
We agree which entity, location, department and warehouse each source record belongs to, and map customers, items and GL accounts, so imported transactions report correctly at every level.
Step 3: Validate in a sandbox
Where you have an Intacct sandbox company, the workflows run there first. Otherwise we test with controlled live records, checking orders, dimensions and payment exports with your team.
Step 4: Run, monitor and extend
Workflows run on schedules or in near real time. Errors returned by Intacct, such as a closed period or a missing dimension value, raise alerts, and new flows can be added as finance processes change.

Is Zynk built on the Sage Intacct API?
Yes. Sage Intacct offers web services APIs for creating and reading records such as customers, orders and invoices. Zynk uses them on your behalf, so you get a supported integration without building or maintaining API code yourself.
Can Salesforce opportunities become Sage Intacct sales orders?
Yes. Zynk creates Intacct customers, items and sales orders from Salesforce, then sends invoices, AR payments and adjustments back. Youth Sport Trust uses this approach to keep orders, invoices and payments aligned between its fundraising and finance teams.
Does the integration support Intacct dimensions and multi-entity?
Yes. Zynk exports locations, departments and warehouses from Intacct and maps incoming records to them, so transactions carry valid dimensions. In multi-entity companies, where Intacct treats each entity as a type of location, we agree which entity every source system posts to.
Can Shopify orders become Intacct sales orders ready for invoicing?
Yes. Each Shopify order imports into Intacct Order Entry against a new or existing customer, with tax and shipping lines mapped. Item records export from Intacct to Shopify, so the store sells the products finance recognises.
Which Intacct objects does the connector cover?
Zynk imports customers, contacts, vendors, items, sales orders, purchase orders and AR adjustments. It exports those records along with invoices, bills, AR and AP payments, AR and AP adjustments, allocations, departments, locations and warehouses.
Can Zynk send Intacct payment information to our CRM?
Yes. AR payments and AR adjustments export from Intacct to Salesforce, HubSpot or another CRM, so the front office can see settled and outstanding invoices. That cuts the back and forth between sales and credit control about who has paid.
Do we need Intacct Order Entry for order imports?
Sales and purchase orders live in Intacct's Order Entry and Purchasing applications, so importing them requires those applications in your subscription. We check which Intacct applications you use during scoping and design the workflows around them.
Why use Zynk rather than building on the Intacct API ourselves?
