SparkLayer Integration

Zynk's SparkLayer integration keeps the trade prices in SparkLayer in line with the ERP or accounting system that sets them. Price lists and product pricing import from Sage 200, Sage 50 and similar systems, and SparkLayer pricing can be exported for use elsewhere. It suits wholesalers selling to trade customers through Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce or Adobe Commerce.

Benefits

Why businesses connect SparkLayer

Trade prices set in one place

Price bands and price lists maintained in Sage or your ERP import into SparkLayer as price lists, so the figure finance agreed with a trade customer is the figure that customer sees when they sign in to order.

The right list for every buyer

SparkLayer assigns price lists to customer groups or to individual customers. Zynk keeps the lists themselves populated, so a new contract price reaches the storefront without anyone editing it in the SparkLayer dashboard.

Bulk price changes without spreadsheets

Annual increases and supplier price rises can touch thousands of SKUs. Batch pricing imports load large sets of SKU prices in a single run, replacing the CSV file someone would otherwise prepare, check and upload by hand.

Prices shared with other systems

SparkLayer price lists, the pricing inside each list and product-level pricing can all be exported. Your CRM, quoting tool or reporting database can then work from the same trade prices that buyers see online.

Independent of your storefront

SparkLayer runs on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce and Wix. Because Zynk connects to SparkLayer directly, the pricing workflow carries on unchanged if you later move to a different ecommerce platform underneath it.

The problem

Why integrate SparkLayer?

B2B buyers expect their own prices, and SparkLayer gives each trade customer exactly that. Keeping those prices accurate is the hard part. When price bands live in the ERP and price lists live in SparkLayer, every change means an export, a reformatted CSV and an upload, with plenty of room for a wrong price to slip through.

Without integration

  • Price list CSVs reformatted and uploaded whenever Sage prices change
  • Trade customers spotting an online price that disagrees with their invoice
  • Annual price increases keyed SKU by SKU in the dashboard
  • Sales reps quoting from an out-of-date spreadsheet of trade prices
  • New price bands in the ERP with no matching list in SparkLayer

With Zynk

  • Price lists import into SparkLayer from Sage on a schedule
  • Online prices come from the same source as invoiced prices
  • Batch pricing updates large ranges of SKUs in one run
  • SparkLayer pricing is exported to the CRM your reps already use
  • Price lists are created in SparkLayer as new bands are added

How it works

How the SparkLayer integration works

  1. Step 1: Link SparkLayer to your pricing source

Zynk connects to SparkLayer through its API, which SparkLayer provides on its Pro and Enterprise plans, and to the Sage or ERP system that holds your price bands, price lists or customer-specific prices.

  2. Step 2: Align lists and SKUs

Each ERP price band or list is paired with a SparkLayer price list in the right currency. Products are matched by SKU, so every price lands against the correct item and variant.

  3. Step 3: Load and verify prices

Workflows import price lists and product pricing into SparkLayer. Before the schedule is switched on, we compare what sample trade customers see on the storefront with the prices held in the ERP.

  4. Step 4: Keep prices current

The workflow runs as often as your pricing changes. Any SKU that exists in the ERP but not in SparkLayer is flagged, so missing products are dealt with before a buyer notices the gap.

SparkLayer and Sage 200

Sage 200 price bands load into SparkLayer as matching price lists, with each stock item's band price applied by SKU for the customer groups that buy on those terms.

SparkLayer integration FAQs

What is SparkLayer?
SparkLayer is a B2B layer that adds trade pricing, payment terms and ordering tools to an existing online store. It runs on platforms including Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and Adobe Commerce, so wholesale buying happens on the store you already operate.
How do I get Sage prices into SparkLayer?
Zynk exports price bands from Sage 200 or price lists from Sage 50 and imports them into SparkLayer as price lists, matched to products by SKU. The workflow runs on a schedule, so price changes made in Sage reach trade customers without a manual upload.
Which SparkLayer plan do I need for an integration?
SparkLayer makes its API available on the Pro and Enterprise plans, and Zynk connects through that API. If you are on a lower plan, speak to SparkLayer about upgrading before the integration is scoped, so there are no surprises at build time.
Can Zynk set customer-specific prices in SparkLayer?
Yes, where your ERP holds them. Customer price bands or special price lists can import into SparkLayer as their own price lists, which SparkLayer then assigns to a customer group or to an individual customer account.
Can I export prices out of SparkLayer?
Yes. Zynk can export SparkLayer price lists, the pricing within each list and product-level pricing. That keeps a CRM, quoting tool or reporting database aligned with the trade prices your customers are offered online.
How often are SparkLayer prices updated?
You choose the schedule. Routine changes can run overnight, with extra runs added when a price increase is due. Batch pricing imports handle large ranges of SKUs, so even a catalogue-wide change can be loaded in a single pass.
What is the first step towards a SparkLayer integration?
Talk to the Zynk team about where your trade prices are maintained and how your SparkLayer price lists are organised. We will map one to the other, agree a schedule and set out the steps to go live.
