Plentymarkets Integration
Zynk's Plentymarkets integration takes the orders and contacts that Plentymarkets collects from marketplaces and web shops and delivers them to the accounting or ERP system your finance team relies on. It suits multichannel sellers who run Plentymarkets, now branded PlentyONE, for selling and fulfilment but keep their books in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Business Central.
Capabilities may differ depending on the product.
Benefits
Why businesses connect Plentymarkets
Every channel's sales in the ledger
Plentymarkets gathers orders from marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay and OTTO alongside your own shop. Zynk exports those orders to your accounting or ERP system, so finance records sales from every channel without downloading reports.
Customer accounts set up first
Contacts export from Plentymarkets with their details, so a customer account exists in Sage, Xero or your ERP before the first invoice is posted against it. Repeat buyers can be matched to the account they already have.
Tax coded the way your accountant expects
Tax rates on each order map to the tax codes in your accounting system. That matters when Plentymarkets sells into several countries and every sale needs the right VAT treatment before the return is prepared.
Month-end without a backlog
Orders reach the ledger daily or more often, so month-end starts from complete sales figures instead of a pile of order exports still waiting to be keyed in or imported.
Nothing to install in Plentymarkets
Zynk reads orders and contacts from Plentymarkets directly, so there is no plugin to develop, install or update inside your Plentymarkets system, and nothing extra to manage when the platform releases a new version.

The problem
Why integrate Plentymarkets?
Plentymarkets is built to collect orders from many channels. Getting those orders into the accounting system is a separate job. Without integration, finance downloads order reports, reformats them and keys or imports them by hand, and the gap between making a sale and recording it widens with every channel you add.
Without integration
- Order reports downloaded from Plentymarkets and reformatted for the accounts
- Customer accounts created by hand before invoices can be posted
- Sales from different marketplaces coded inconsistently
- Repeat marketplace buyers set up as new customers every time
- Month-end delayed while last week's orders are caught up
With Zynk
- Every order reaches your accounting or ERP system unaided
- Contacts export first and become customer records
- Orders from every channel follow the same mapping rules
- Contacts are matched to existing accounts before orders post
- The ledger stays current, so month-end starts on time
How it works
How the Plentymarkets integration works
Step 1: Give Zynk access
Create a Plentymarkets user for Zynk with rights to read orders and contacts, and connect the accounting or ERP system that should receive them.
Step 2: Map channels, tax and payments
Map the sales channels, payment methods, shipping charges and tax rates on Plentymarkets orders to the customers, nominal codes and tax codes your accounting system already uses.
Step 3: Check a trial batch
Run a set of recent orders through the workflow and compare totals, VAT and customer details in both systems before the export is switched on.
Step 4: Export on a timetable
Orders and contacts then export on the schedule you choose. An order that cannot be posted, such as one with an unmapped tax rate, is flagged for review instead of being skipped.
