Warehouse Management System

Mintsoft Integration

Zynk's Mintsoft integration links the Mintsoft warehouse to the accounting or ERP system that runs your finances. Sales orders, products, purchase orders and on-hand stock go into Mintsoft, while despatched orders, booked-in ASNs, invoices and stock levels come back out. It is built for 3PLs and ecommerce brands running Mintsoft alongside Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Business Central.

Benefits

Why businesses connect Mintsoft

Invoices that follow despatch

Mintsoft records an invoice for each completed order. Zynk exports those invoices to your ledger on a schedule, so billing keeps pace with what has actually left the warehouse instead of waiting for a weekly export.

Goods in recorded once

Purchase orders raised in your ERP import into Mintsoft as ASNs, so the warehouse knows what is due. Once the delivery is booked in, the ASN exports again and goods received can be posted in finance.

One product list

New and changed products import into Mintsoft from the system that owns your item master. The warehouse never picks against a SKU the finance team does not recognise, and nobody sets products up twice.

Stock positions that agree

Stock levels export from Mintsoft, with optional batch, serial and best-before breakdowns, so finance and sales see the same figures as the warehouse floor. On-hand quantities can also be pushed into Mintsoft when another system is the master.

Ready for multi-client 3PLs

Order and ASN exports can be filtered by Mintsoft client, and stock and invoice exports can carry client details. A 3PL can run a workflow per client and post each one's activity to the right account.

The problem

Why integrate Mintsoft?

Mintsoft handles the warehouse well: picking, packing and despatch. The trouble starts when that activity has to reach finance. Despatches need invoicing, deliveries need matching to purchase orders and stock has to agree across systems. Without integration, someone exports files from the Mintsoft portal and rekeys them into the ledger.

Without integration

  • Despatched orders exported from Mintsoft by hand before anyone can invoice
  • Purchase orders retyped into Mintsoft so the warehouse expects a delivery
  • Goods booked in at the warehouse but never recorded against the purchase order
  • New products set up in the ERP and then again in Mintsoft
  • Stock figures in finance that drift away from the warehouse count

With Zynk

  • Despatched orders and invoices reach the ledger on a schedule
  • Purchase orders import into Mintsoft as ASNs automatically
  • Booked-in ASNs export so goods received can be posted in finance
  • Products import into Mintsoft from the ERP item master
  • Mintsoft stock levels export so both systems report the same quantities

How it works

How the Mintsoft integration works

  1. Step 1: Connect Mintsoft and your ledger

Zynk connects to your Mintsoft account through its API and to the accounting or ERP system behind it. Stock updates need an admin-level Mintsoft user, which we confirm during setup.

  2. Step 2: Match clients, SKUs and warehouses

Map Mintsoft clients to customer accounts, SKUs to stock codes and warehouses to locations, and decide whether a despatched order becomes an invoice, a despatch note or a sales transaction in finance.

  3. Step 3: Choose what moves and when

Pick the records for each workflow, such as invoices created since the last run or ASNs modified today. Zynk remembers where each export finished, so the next run only collects what is new.

  4. Step 4: Run and monitor

Workflows run through the day or overnight. Records that fail to import are written to a separate file, so your team can correct the data and rerun, and already-imported records can be protected from reprocessing.

Example use cases for Mintsoft integration

Mintsoft and Sage 50 UK

Sage 50 sales orders and stock records feed Mintsoft. When the warehouse ships or books in, despatch notes and goods received notes are posted back to Sage 50 without rekeying.

Mintsoft and Sage 200

Purchase orders from Sage 200 arrive in Mintsoft as ASNs alongside sales orders and stock items. Despatches and booked-in deliveries return as goods despatched and goods received notes.

Mintsoft and Xero

Post Mintsoft invoices to Xero and turn Xero purchase orders into ASNs, so the warehouse and the accounts both know what is coming in and what has been billed.

Mintsoft and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Business Central sales orders, items and purchase orders feed Mintsoft, and invoices for completed orders come back as sales invoices on the customer ledger.

Mintsoft integration FAQs

Can Mintsoft integrate with Sage 50 and Sage 200?
Yes. Zynk connects Mintsoft to Sage 50 and Sage 200. Sales orders and products go into Mintsoft from Sage, and despatches, booked-in deliveries and invoices come back, so the ledger reflects what the warehouse has actually shipped and received.
Does Zynk use the Mintsoft API?
Yes. Mintsoft provides an API, and Zynk's connector uses it to read and write orders, products, ASNs, stock and invoices. There is nothing for you to build or host: we set up the connection to your Mintsoft account and look after it once you are live.
Does Zynk work with 3PLs using Mintsoft?
Yes. Mintsoft keeps orders, stock and ASNs separate by client, and Zynk's exports can be filtered by client or include client details. A 3PL can run a workflow per client, post invoices to the correct customer account and keep each client's activity apart in finance.
Can Zynk connect Mintsoft to Xero or QuickBooks?
Yes. Invoices for completed Mintsoft orders can be posted to Xero or QuickBooks Online, and purchase orders or items can be sent into Mintsoft from them. Which records move depends on whether the accounting system or the warehouse holds the master data.
Can Zynk update stock levels in Mintsoft?
Yes. Zynk can set the on-hand quantity of products in Mintsoft from another system. Mintsoft only accepts stock updates from an admin-level user and not where bin locations are in use, so we check your warehouse setup before recommending this route.
What happens to an ASN once the goods arrive?
When the warehouse books an ASN in, Zynk can export the updated ASN and pass it to finance, for example as a goods received note in Sage 200 or Sage 50. Purchase orders and receipts then agree without anyone checking delivery paperwork by hand.
