Mirakl Integration

Zynk's Mirakl integration is for brands and retailers selling on marketplaces built on Mirakl. It exports the accounting documents each marketplace raises against your shop, the invoices and credit notes for commission and fees, and posts them to Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Business Central. Marketplace costs reach your purchase ledger without anyone downloading files from the back office.

Benefits

Why businesses connect Mirakl

Marketplace fees in the ledger

Each Mirakl billing cycle produces accounting documents covering the commission and fees charged to your shop. Zynk exports them and creates matching purchase invoices or bills, recorded against the operator as a supplier and in the right period.

Line detail when you need it

Turn on transaction lines and every accounting document arrives with the individual charges behind it. Finance can see which orders and fees make up each total instead of posting one unexplained figure per cycle.

Payouts you can match

Documents can be filtered by payment status, such as pending or paid. Collecting paid documents gives finance a clear record to set against the amounts each marketplace transfers to your bank account.

Several marketplaces, one process

If you sell on more than one Mirakl-powered marketplace, each gets its own connection. The same workflow can then post documents from all of them into one set of books with consistent coding.

No more back-office downloads

Zynk picks up new accounting documents on a schedule and remembers where it stopped, so nobody has to log into each marketplace back office at the end of every billing cycle to fetch invoices.

The problem

Why integrate Mirakl?

Selling on a Mirakl marketplace means the operator bills your shop on a regular cycle for commission and fees. Those documents sit in each marketplace's back office. Without integration, someone downloads them, keys them in as supplier bills and tries to match the payouts, and the job grows with every marketplace you join.

Without integration

  • Commission invoices downloaded from each marketplace back office one by one
  • Marketplace fees keyed into the purchase ledger days after they were charged
  • Operator credit notes missed or entered twice
  • Payouts that don't match the bank because fees were never recorded

With Zynk

  • Accounting documents export from Mirakl after every billing cycle
  • Fees post as purchase invoices or bills coded to the right accounts
  • Credit notes export with the invoices so the supplier balance stays correct
  • Paid documents export so each payout can be matched to the bank

How it works

How the Mirakl integration works

  1. Step 1: Create an API key in Mirakl

In your Mirakl account, create an API integration and copy its access token. Zynk uses that key with your marketplace URL, plus a shop ID if your user manages more than one shop.

  2. Step 2: Map fees to your ledger

Decide how each document should land, as a purchase invoice, a bill or a credit. The operator maps to a supplier account, and each charge to a nominal code, tax rate and department.

  3. Step 3: Pick the documents to collect

Set the payment status filter and choose whether to include transaction lines. Each run fetches documents created since the previous one, so nothing is posted twice.

  4. Step 4: Schedule the export

Run the workflow once a day or after each billing cycle closes. A document that fails to post, for example because of a missing supplier code, is reported for your team to fix.

Mirakl integration FAQs

Can Mirakl marketplace fees be posted to Sage?
Yes. Zynk exports Mirakl accounting documents and posts them into Sage 50 or Sage 200 as purchase invoices, coded to the supplier account, nominal codes and tax rates you choose. Marketplace commission then sits in Sage alongside your other supplier costs.
What are Mirakl accounting documents?
They are the invoices and credit notes a Mirakl marketplace operator issues to its sellers at the end of each billing cycle. They typically show the commission and fees charged on your sales and the amount the operator pays out to your shop.
Is there a Mirakl API for sellers?
Yes. Mirakl publishes REST APIs for marketplace operators and sellers. Zynk connects with an API key created in your Mirakl account and your marketplace address, so there is no code to write and nothing to install on the marketplace side.
Can Zynk import Mirakl orders or update stock?
Zynk's Mirakl connector is focused on exporting accounting documents. If you also need marketplace orders or stock levels handled, talk to our team about your setup and we'll confirm what can be automated before you commit to anything.
Can I connect more than one Mirakl marketplace?
Yes. Each Mirakl-powered marketplace has its own address and API key, so Zynk uses a separate connection for each one. A single workflow can then collect documents from every marketplace you sell on and post them to the same ledger.
Can I export only paid accounting documents?
Yes. The export can be filtered by payment status, including pending, paid and failed, or set to collect everything. You might post documents as soon as they are issued and use the paid status later to confirm each payout.
How do we set up a Mirakl accounting workflow?
Send us the list of Mirakl marketplaces you sell on and the accounting system you use. We'll look at how marketplace fees are coded today and propose a workflow that posts each billing cycle's documents automatically.
Can Mirakl connect to Business Central?
Yes. Zynk exports Mirakl accounting documents, the commission and fee invoices and credit notes, and creates them in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as purchase invoices against the marketplace vendor. The connector covers accounting documents, so marketplace orders and stock are scoped separately.
