Prestashop Integration
Zynk's PrestaShop integration connects your PrestaShop store to the accounting, ERP, CRM and shipping systems behind it. Orders, customers, addresses and catalogue data export from PrestaShop, while products and customers import from your back office and order updates are written back to the store. It suits merchants running Sage, Xero or Business Central alongside PrestaShop.
Capabilities may differ depending on the product.
Benefits
Why businesses connect Prestashop
Orders posted with the right codes
PrestaShop orders export to your accounting or ERP system with billing and delivery addresses attached. Finance posts sales orders or invoices coded by tax rate, carrier and payment method, rather than copying them out of the PrestaShop back office.
Products maintained in one place
Products import into PrestaShop from the system that owns your item data, and categories, features and option values export so they can be mapped. New lines reach the store without being typed into the back office a second time.
Trade customers created once
Customers and their customer groups export from PrestaShop, and new customer records can import from your ERP or CRM. Accounts opened by your sales team reach the store without anyone creating them twice.
Order states kept current
When an order is despatched in your back office or shipping platform, Zynk updates it in PrestaShop. Customers see an accurate order state, and PrestaShop sends whatever status email you have configured for that state.
Ready for cross-border orders
Countries and addresses export from PrestaShop alongside each order, so delivery and billing details map to the country codes your accounts and carriers expect when you sell beyond the UK.

The problem
Why integrate Prestashop?
PrestaShop gives you full control of your storefront, but the work after each order happens somewhere else. Without integration, orders are retyped into the accounts, product data lives in two places and order states change only when someone remembers, so customers wait for updates and finance waits for sales figures.
Without integration
- Orders copied from the PrestaShop back office into the accounts
- Products created twice, once in the ERP and once in the store
- Order states changed by hand after parcels have left
- Trade customers set up separately in the store and the accounts
- Features and option values that don't match the ERP's attributes
With Zynk
- Orders and addresses export to your accounting or ERP system
- Products import into PrestaShop from your product master
- Order updates are written back to PrestaShop automatically
- Customer records import from your back office or CRM
- Catalogue structure exports so item mappings line up
How it works
How the Prestashop integration works
Step 1: Open webservice access
Enable the PrestaShop webservice under Advanced Parameters and create a key for Zynk with rights only to the resources the integration needs, such as orders, customers and products.
Step 2: Map catalogue, carriers and tax
Match PrestaShop products, combinations, categories, carriers and tax rules to the items, nominal codes and tax codes held in your back office system.
Step 3: Follow test orders through
Place test orders and follow each one from the store into your accounts and back again, confirming totals, customer details and order states in both systems.
Step 4: Put each flow on a schedule
Order exports run frequently and catalogue updates less often, each on its own schedule. Alerts flag anything that needs a person, such as an order for a product with no mapping.
Integrations
What can you connect to Prestashop?
Example use cases for Prestashop integration
Prestashop and Sage 50 UK
Post PrestaShop orders into Sage 50 as sales orders or invoices, import products from Sage 50 stock records and update each order once Sage 50 shows it as despatched.
Prestashop and Sage 200
Create Sage 200 sales orders from PrestaShop, keep store products in line with Sage 200 stock records and return despatch information to the store as order updates.
Prestashop and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Send PrestaShop orders and customers to Business Central, and import Business Central items as store products so both systems work from one catalogue.

Prestashop and Xero
Record PrestaShop orders as Xero invoices and add buyers as Xero contacts, giving finance a current sales ledger without exports or spreadsheets.
Prestashop and Shiptheory
Pass PrestaShop orders to Shiptheory for labels, then write each shipment back as an order update so the customer knows the parcel is on its way.
