Sage Integration

Zynk's Sage integration connects Sage 50, Sage 200, Sage Intacct and Sage Accounting to the ecommerce stores, marketplaces, CRMs and warehouse systems around them. Orders, customers, invoices and stock move between systems automatically, so finance teams stop rekeying. Each Sage product has its own connector, built around how that product stores and accepts data, so start by choosing yours below.

Benefits

Why businesses connect Sage

One partner across the Sage range

Whether you run Sage 50 on a desktop, Sage 200 on your own servers or Sage Intacct in the cloud, the same Zynk team builds and supports the integration. Moving up the range later does not mean finding a new supplier.

Built for how each product works

Sage 50 exposes a desktop SDK, while Sage 200, Sage Intacct and Sage Accounting offer web APIs. Each Zynk connector uses the route its product supports, so you never write code against Sage yourself.

Sage expertise from day one

Zynk was founded in 2002 by Sage's former Head of Development, and Sage integration is still the core of the business. That experience shows in how VAT, nominal codes and multi-line documents are handled.

Templates for common Sage flows

Ready-made templates cover frequent pairings such as Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento with Sage 50 UK or Sage 200. Template-based projects can go live in days, with custom steps added where your process needs them.

Stock and prices from one source

Stock levels and price lists can flow from Sage to every sales channel, so web stores, marketplaces and B2B portals sell what you hold at the prices finance has agreed.

Monitored, not forgotten

Workflows run on a schedule or in near real time, with logging and alerts when a record needs attention, such as a customer missing from Sage or a product code that does not match.

Need something that isn't listed?

Most Sage projects include at least one custom step. Our team builds it for you.

The problem

Why integrate Sage?

Sage holds the numbers, but the transactions start somewhere else: a web store, a marketplace, a CRM or a warehouse. Without integration, every order, customer and stock movement has to be typed into Sage by hand, and the gap between what happened and what the ledger shows widens as you grow.

Without integration

  • Web and marketplace orders rekeyed into Sage one at a time
  • Stock on each sales channel drifting away from the figures in Sage
  • Customer records that differ between the CRM and the sales ledger
  • Payments matched to invoices by hand at month-end
  • Outgrowing Sage 50 means rebuilding every integration from scratch

With Zynk

  • Orders arrive in Sage as sales orders or invoices without retyping
  • Stock exported from Sage keeps every channel accurate
  • Customers and accounts kept consistent between the CRM and Sage
  • Payments posted and matched as they arrive, where your Sage product supports it
  • Moving from Sage 50 to Sage 200 keeps the same partner and approach

How it works

How the Sage integration works

  1. Step 1: Choose your product

Tell us which Sage you run, including the edition and version. Sage 50 UK, US and Canada, Sage 200 Professional and Cloud Standard, Intacct and Sage Accounting each have their own connector and task list.

  2. Step 2: Connect

Zynk connects to your Sage company through the route that product supports, the SDK for desktop Sage 50 and web APIs for the cloud products, and to the other systems in the workflow.

  3. Step 3: Map

Customers, products, tax codes, nominal codes and departments are mapped so each transaction lands in Sage coded the way your accountant expects.

  4. Step 4: Automate

Workflows run on a schedule or in near real time. Alerts flag anything that needs a person, and the same workflows keep up as order volumes grow.

Sage and Shopify

Shopify orders and customers flow into Sage 50 or Sage 200, and stock levels flow back so the store only sells what is on the shelf.

Sage integration FAQs

Which Sage products can Zynk integrate with?
Zynk has connectors for Sage 50 in the UK, US and Canada, Sage 200 Professional and Sage 200 Cloud Standard, Sage 200 Evolution, Sage Intacct and Sage Accounting. Each is a separate connector with its own tasks, so check the page for your product.
Does Sage have an API for integration?
It depends on the product. Sage 50 is desktop software with an SDK rather than a web API, while Sage 200, Sage Intacct and Sage Accounting offer web APIs. Zynk handles whichever your product uses, so there is no development work on your side.
How do I know which version of Sage I have?
Sage 50 is installed on a desktop and sold separately in the UK, US and Canada. Sage 200 is aimed at larger businesses and comes as Professional or Cloud Standard. Sage Intacct and Sage Accounting run in a browser. Your login screen or licence shows the exact product name.
Which ecommerce platforms work with Sage?
Zynk connects Sage with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, eBay and Amazon, among others. Orders and customers move into Sage and stock or prices can flow back, with the exact tasks depending on which Sage product you run.
What happens to our integrations if we move from Sage 50 to Sage 200?
They move with you. The workflows are rebuilt against the Sage 200 connector, keeping your other systems and any mappings that still apply. Samba Sports took this route as it grew, moving from Sage 50 to Sage 200 with Zynk.
Is Sage integration real-time or scheduled?
Workflows can run on a schedule, such as every few minutes, or be triggered in near real time where the connected systems allow it. Most businesses pick a schedule that matches how often orders arrive and how quickly finance needs them.
Can Zynk handle VAT and tax codes in Sage?
Yes. Tax rates from each sales channel are mapped to the tax codes in your Sage product, whether that means UK VAT in Sage 50 or Sage 200, US sales tax in Sage 50 US, or GST and HST in the Canadian edition.
How much does a Sage integration cost?
Cost depends on which Sage product you run, the systems you connect and how much data moves between them. Plan prices are on the pricing page, and for projects with several systems we scope the work and give you a quote before anything is built.
