Marketplaces
Marketplace integration: sell on Amazon, eBay and more without the admin
Connect Amazon, eBay and other marketplaces to your stock, warehouse and accounts, so listings, orders, stock and fees are handled automatically on every channel.

Marketplaces put your products in front of millions of buyers, but each one adds its own seller portal, order format, fee structure and stock figure to keep up to date. Selling on two or three of them alongside your own website quickly turns into a daily routine of downloads, uploads and spreadsheets, and one missed update can mean an oversold item and a hit to your seller rating.
Marketplace integration connects each channel to the systems behind your business, so multichannel selling doesn't multiply your admin.
What is marketplace integration?
Marketplace integration is the automatic flow of listings, orders, stock, fulfilment and financial data between online marketplaces and your own systems. Typically that includes:
- Marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, eBay, Temu, ManoMano and marketplaces built on Mirakl
- Multichannel and dropship platforms such as Rithum, Virtualstock, Linnworks, StoreFeeder and Cloud Commerce Pro
- Your own web store, for example Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento
- Back-office systems such as Sage 50, Sage 200, Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NetSuite
The problems with managing marketplaces manually
- Overselling. Stock sells on one marketplace but isn't reduced on the others in time, leading to cancellations and account health warnings.
- Re-keyed orders. Orders are exported from each seller portal and typed or imported into your ERP or warehouse system in batches.
- Inconsistent listings. Product details and prices are maintained separately on each channel and gradually drift apart.
- Missing tracking. Marketplaces expect shipment confirmation and tracking promptly, and late updates can affect your performance metrics.
- Fees nobody can reconcile. Commissions, refunds and settlement deductions arrive in marketplace reports rather than your ledger, so payouts are hard to match.
How marketplace integration works with Zynk
Zynk connects each marketplace to your systems using the same low-code platform, so adding a channel doesn't mean starting again:
- Publish products and prices. Catalogue data, stock and pricing are sent from your source of truth, such as your ERP or product database, to each marketplace.
- Pull orders in. New marketplace orders are downloaded into your ERP, accounts, order management or warehouse system without re-keying.
- Keep stock aligned. Stock levels are pushed back out to every channel on a schedule that suits your volumes. See inventory sync for more detail.
- Confirm fulfilment. When an order ships, fulfilment and tracking details are sent back to the marketplace, linking in with shipping integration.
- Post the money. Where the connector supports it, such as Amazon financial events, commissions and refunds, fees and settlements are posted to your accounts. Our guide to ecommerce accounting covers this in more detail.
Every transfer is logged and errors are flagged, so you can see what has happened on each channel without logging in to every seller portal.
What to look for in marketplace integration software
- Connectors for every marketplace you sell on, plus the ones you plan to test next
- Two-way stock and order sync, not just a one-off order export
- Support for listings, variants and pricing from a single source of truth
- Handling of refunds, cancellations, commissions and fees, so finance isn't left with a manual reconciliation
- The ability to send tracking and fulfilment updates back to each channel
- One platform that also connects your web store, warehouse and accounts, as covered in ecommerce integration
Get started with a template
Marketplace setups vary, so they're usually configured to match the channels and back-office systems you use. If you also sell through an order management system, templates such as Linnworks to Sage 200 and Linnworks to Sage 50 give you a proven starting point, and web store templates such as Shopify to Sage 200 cover your own site.
